we describe all the processes off adding new content to the platform, after they have been delivered in the right format.
preparation[bearbeiten]
Some files are uploaded to the platform via FTP. Before sending files to the platform, they must be pre-processed according to our data specifications. The role of the "content uploader" contains a FTP user account.
User Management[bearbeiten]
every content-uploader can add/upload files via FTP to a "inbox" directory. as a speciality, a "general user" is also available for upload. details to user-management can be found here
data upload via FTP[bearbeiten]
files are being uploaded with a ftp-client, e.g. Filezilla)
MPN[bearbeiten]
files that have been delivered through the MPN2DMD will automatically be taken over from the the inbound directory.
bulk upload[bearbeiten]
a bulk upload is also possible with very large data amount, e.g. over a portable harddisk.
